My opinion

The main character's presentation, in the first page of the novel, seemed promising : "How could a cynical socialist lesbian feminist journalist (as she mockingly described herself) be on her way to spend a week-end in a girl's public school ?" So, I was expecting something innovative, different, inspired... but unfortunately all I read is a very common detective story that I even found rather boring.

This is V.L. McDermid's first novel and apparently it hasn't been translated into French.

Le livre n'ayant apparemment pas été traduit en français, j'avais trouvé plus cohérent de laisser ma note en anglais, mais je vais modifier ça.
